Augustana seniors Hannah Lohmeier and Tanner Osing each received the Jack Swartz Award for the fall season, according to the school's athletic website.
The award is given to one male and female athlete after each athletic season by the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW). Each school in the league selects its representatives. The requirements for the award are an athlete must earn a varsity letter and have a minimum grade-point average of 3.5.
Lohmeier led the Vikings women's soccer team this season with six goals and also had two assists. In her career, she had 15 goals and was a two-time College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-American. She has a 3.96 GPA, majoring in biochemistry.
Osing finished seventh in this year's CCIW Championship cross-country meet and was 12th at the Midwest Regional, qualifying him for the NCAA Division III national meet. He has a 3.52 GPA, majoring in public health.
