Olivia Mayer and Isaac Smith were on fire this winter.

The Augustana seniors earned Jack Swartz Awards for their success in winter sports this year. Mayer, a native of Green Oaks, was the starting point guard for the Vikings women's basketball team for four seasons. For the season, she led Augustana with 86 total assists and averaged 7.5 points per game in 26 starts.

Smith, from Marion, Iowa, clinched his second-straight College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Athlete of the Meet honor and earned All-America honors in the 400-meter run and as part of Augustana's 4x400 relay team at the NCAA Division III Championships.

A Jack Swartz Award is given to one male and one female athlete at each CCIW school every fall, winter and spring athletic season. Athletes must have earned a varsity letter and have a minimum grade-point average of 3.5.
