Ron Hoburg made a motion to approve the February 13, 2017 Board Meeting Minutes as presented.
Jeff Bell seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Ron Hoburg made a motion to approve the February 13, 2017 Closed Session Board Meeting Minutes as presented. Derek VerHeecke seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.

Derek VerHeecke made a motion to not purchase the previous $49.00 Offer from Staples that was voted on at the February Board Meeting. Ron Hoburg seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
*Troy Nimrick stepped out of the meeting during the next three votes.
Connie Vail made a motion that the Village accepts with gratitude the donation of a Bench for the Village from the Alwood Lions Club. Jason Carlson seconded the Motion. Motion carried 5-0.

Connie Vail made a motion to add an item to the Agenda, a letter from the Alwood Post Prom Committee. Jeff Bell seconded the motion. Motion carried 5-0.
Troy Nimrick returned to the Meeting.
Connie Vail made a motion that a $400.00 donation be made to the Alwood Post Prom. Jason Carlson seconded the motion. Vail – Y, Carlson – Y, Bell – Y, Hoburg – Y, Nimrick – Y, VerHeecke – Y.
Motion carried 6-0.
POLICE/CIVIL DEFENSE/PERMITS:
Police Chief Chad Hillier presented the February Police Department Activity Report as follows:
Woodhull Police Department responded to 22 calls for service, conducted 12 traffic stops, 6 warnings, 3 citations being issued, used 54 gallons of Gasoline at a cost of $122.26.
Jason Carlson made a motion to approve the February Police Report as presented. Ron Hoburg seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
WATER/SANITATION/SEWER:
Jeff McCready presented the February Water/Sewer/Sanitation Report as follows:
Water usage: 2,138,240 gallons, 76,366 GPD Average
East Lift Station 2,603,040 gallons, West Lift Station 1,552,080 gallons
Derek VerHeecke made a motion to approve the February Water/Sewer/Sanitation Report as presented. Jason Carlson seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.

Jason Carlson made a motion to set the dates for the following: Village Wide Yard Sales will be on Saturday May 6th 2017 and the Village Clean-up day will be on Friday May 12th 2017. Derek VerHeecke seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Ron Hoburg made a motion to go into Closed Session at 9:30 p.m. Jason Carlson seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Troy Nimrick made a motion to return to Open Session at 10:24 p.m. Connie Vail seconded the motion. Motion carried 6-0.
Derek VerHeecke made a motion to hire Steve Pickrel and because he is unable to work every day the Village has also hired Will Rind for Seasonal Help at $11.25 each per hour. Jason Carlson seconded the motion. VerHeecke – Y, Carlson – Y, Bell – Y, Hoburg – Y, Nimrick – Y, Vail – Y. Motion carried 6-0.
Connie Vail made a motion to hire Michelle Keener as Woodhull Village Treasurer at a salary of $700.00 per month. Ron Hoburg seconded the motion. Vail – Y, Hoburg – Y, Carlson – Y, Nimrick – Y. Motion carried 4-0. Jeff Bell and Derek VerHeecke abstained.
Troy Nimrick made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 10:33 p.m. Connie Vail seconded the motion.
