Unpaid fines for Rock Falls-based campaign committee totaled $7,082 in January 2017

One campaign committee in Rock Falls has overdue fines amounting to a total of $7,082, records obtained by the Rock Island Today show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that Americas Revolution of Reason was the only campaign committee in Rock Falls that was delinquent in payment for January 2017, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The largest fine that Americas Revolution of Reason has yet to pay was imposed on Jan. 6, 2014, for a late quarterly report. The amount of this fine alone is $4,450.
