Mercer residents seeking enrichment or entertainment might want to pay a visit to the Mercer Carnegie Library.

The library recently added a slew of novels and non-fiction books, including "The Bettencourt Affair," "An Illinois Life," "My Absolute Darling," "Enemy of the State: A Mitch Rapp Novel," "A Column of Fire," "A Legacy of Spies," "The Right Time," "What She Ate," "The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye," "The Burning Girl," "Saint Maze" (large print), "Lillian on Life" (large print), "Why Buddhism is True," "Enigma," "What Happened," "The Romanov Ransom," "Secrets in Death," "The Western Star," "Haunted," "The Golden House," "Proof of Life," "The Last Tudor" and "The Rivera Set."

In the world of cinema, Carnegie has added PG flicks like "Scales," "Rogue One" and "Gifted."

For the more mature audience, the library now also counts the R-rated films "The Dinner," "All Eyes on Me: the Untold Story of Tupac Shakur," "Rough Night" and the not-rated "Grace and Frankie" among its titles.

Servicing the Mercer and Millersville townships for more than 100 years, the Carnegie Library is located at 200 North College Ave. in Aledo.
