Annawan Community Unit School District 226 Board met September 20.

The Budget Hearing Meeting was held on September 20, 2017 at 5:45 pm in the High School Language Arts Room. President John Rosenberry called the meeting to order. On roll call members present were Brain Childs (5:50 pm), Cathy Foes, Nancy Goodman, Jerad Heitzler, John Rosenberry, Dwaine Shaw Jr and Ted VanHyfte. Others present were Interim Superintendent, Kyle Ganson, Lana Wolf, Chris Kidd, Matt Nordstrom, Matt Huber, AD, Dawn Hetizler, Tammy Celus, Mary Jagers, Linda Jagers and First Midstate Representative.
Interim Superintendent, Kyle Ganson presented the revised FY2018 budget. It reflects changes in the revenue and expenditures due to updated information that result in an overall deficit of $395,263.00 which is $84,247.00 less than the $436,396.00 August projection. Each operating fund will incur projected deficits, but due to fund balances a debt reduction plan is not necessary at this time.
