A new program with the Rock Island Parks & Recreation Department allows sponsors to reach thousands of potential customers while keeping dozens of sports, special events and facilities affordable for families to enjoy, according to a city press release.
The department recently launched its 2018 sponsorship campaign, with opportunities such as donating Fright Night candy, supporting concerts at Schwiebert Riverfront Park, placing a company logo on a soccer jersey or placing a firm’s signage at Whitewater Junction or the sports complex, the release said.
“Our department is one of the most trusted brands in the community,” said Dan Gleason, special events and fundraising manager, said in the release. “It’s where patrons come to exercise, connect with nature, celebrate community, and socialize with others. That’s why it makes sense to align your business with us.”
