A cinematic holiday tradition in the Quad Cities is back this year.
A release on the Quad Cities Chamber of Commerce website said the Putnam Museum and Science Center will have showings of “Polar Express 3D” through Dec. 31.
“Most people don’t know this, but the Putnam sells more tickets to the 'Polar Express 3D' than any other venue in the country,” Museum and Science Center CEO President Kim Findlay said in the release. “Watching the holiday classic is truly a family tradition in the Quad Cities.”
Upcoming showings in December are 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 19; 11:15 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 20; 3 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 21; 12:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 22; 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23; 12:30 and 3 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 24; 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26; 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28; 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 30; and 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31.
Tickets are $8.50 for adults and $7 for youth ages 3-18.
