Village of Carbon Cliff Public Properties Committee met February 12.
Here is the agenda provided by the Committee:
1. Review/ Motion to approve Skid Steer and attachments. Recommend Open Cab TI75-1 Skid Loader with 66* Bucket. Also recommend the following attachments: 60* Rotary Brush Mower, 68* Hydraulic Angle Broom and 60* Pallet Forks.
2. Review Maintenance Agreement from Nortwest Mechanical.
3. Aerator motor at pond has stopped working. Need to look at replacing and possibly mounting in new location to avoid flood waters.
4. Discuss Open House for New Village Hall. Ideally on April Open House would be best.
5. Discuss dedicating the Board Room at the Village Hall in memory of Kenneth A. Williams, former Village President and Board Member serving the Village for over 30 years.
6. EPA and the Rock Island County Health Department are working on a free tire collection event. This event will be held sometime this Spring (March or April) similar to last year's event. The Maintenace department can collect tires throughout Carbon Cliff and take them to East Moline, which is the designated collection site. There will be no cost to the residents as the collection event is paid for using IL State taxes from tire sales.
