The Rock Island County Republican Central Committee and the Republican Women of Rock Island County are scheduled to host a two-day Illinois concealed carry class April 28-29.
Hosted certified NRA instructor Mark Millichamp, the course will be held at the Rock Island County Republican Headquarters from 9 a.m.- 3 p.m.
The cost is $200 per person or $100 for military or honorably discharged veterans, who are only required to attend the class on the second day but can attend the first day if they choose. All participants must qualify with a B-27 silhouette target.
Participants can bring their own firearm and 40 rounds of factory ammunition if they have a firearm owners identification card, or a firearm or ammunition can be provided.
