The Village Board Meeting was called to order by Mayor Pro Tem Gerry Meade at 6:00 p.m. on Monday March 19, 2018

Roll Call / Establishment Of Quorum / Pledge Of Allegiance

Roll Call #1: Present: Trustees Patty Lindley, Wayne Oney, Gerry Meade, Dustin Sloan

Absent: Mayor Peterson, Brian Bitler, Wes Wells

Mayor Pro Tem Meade declared a quorum present

Also Present:Sarah Gorham, Atty;Carol Henry, Treasurer;

Eric Sikkema, Public Works

R Taber asked about current status of water hookups for the north utility extension, Trustee Meade said that is a process being worked on and should be decided soon.

B. There was an emergency repair that needed to be made on Rock River, due to a washout; rip rap was ordered and placed, and that cost will be on next meeting agenda

a. Carpet and tile cleaning at Village Hall

Trustee Sloan moved to approve carpet cleaning by Miller’s Classic Carpet Care at a cost of $735, seconded by Trustee Lindley

Mayor Pro Tem Meade declared motion approved

b. Repair/replace roof at Village Hall

1) Eric discussed various options for roof replacement

2) Attorney said the bid process will need to be followed, with publishing of notice and a cohesive bid package specifying requirements

c. Salt purchase from Cargill

Trustee Sloan moved to approve salt purchase of 3 loads of salt, seconded by Trustee Lindley, from Cargill, at a total cost of $4095.19
