Andalusia Fire Protection District responded to five calls in 2017 - 66.7 percent less than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Andalusia included four fires - one structure fire, one vehicle fire and two other fires.

In all, the department saw $12,000 in fire loss - or about $3,000 per fire.

The department also received one false call.

The Andalusia Fire Protection District had an annual budget of $486,526 in 2017.
