South Moline Township Board of Trustee met June 5.

Here is the minutes provided by the Board:

Meeting Called To Order — Meeting was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Supervisor Best.

Pledge Of Allegiance

Approval Of Minutes — Motion by Griffin, second by Anderson, that we approve the minutes of May 21, 2018. Motion carried, with all voting in favor. Officials' Reports —

a. Road Commissioner — Per Best looks like the small culverts will be replaced on the 17th or 18th of this month. Every thing going well

b. Assessor —

c. Clerk — All good

d. Trustees —

e. Cemetery — Did some touch up ffor memorial day and everything looked good. Also had

a drone take some pictures from above and will be putting them on WEB page

Supervisor's Report —

a. GA: Pending 3; Active 14; Approved 0; Denied 3; Terminated 3; Withdrawn 3; Sanction 2; Total 26. WR: Approved 2. EA: Approved 1. Also had a hearing due to an appeal, the hearing board upheld the Township ruling.

b. Prevailing Wage. Best presented the proposed ordinance to pay prevailing wage for the town fund and Road and Bridge. Best stated that it is law that we have to pass this every year. After some light discussion a motion by Griffin to pay adopt said ordinance for the town fund. 2nd by Forsberg. Ayes Griffin, Forsberg and Best. Anderson voted present. Motion by Forsberg to adapt said ordinance for Road and Bridge/ Second by Griffin. Ayes by Griffin, Forsberg and Best. Anderson voted present.

New Business — Best ask all their opinion on whether to pass an ordinance for the township board members to electronically attend a meeting while they are out of town. After some discussion all thought it would be a good idea. Best to do some more research and advise.
