East Moline Public Library recently issued the following announcement.
Douglas Park was the site of one of the first ever professional football games between the Rock Island Independents and the Moline Universal Tractors.
Co-Presented by Quad Cities Vintage Foodball & Rock Island Parks and Recreation, the 1920's style 9 on 9 flag football game will take place on the field with historical uniforms and game rules.
