Quad Cities Convention and Visitors Center recently issued the following announcement.
Spend a day immersed in art and culture! Your experience will begin at the Hauberg mansion where you will enjoy luncheon and a presentation by Dr. Claire Kovacs, Director of Augustana Teaching Museum of Art, on Figge Art Museum's exhibition---French Moderns, Monet to Matisse, 1850-1950.
Following the presenation a bus will take you over to Figge where you will go on a guided tour of the exhibition, included in the day trip ticket. Afterwards, the bus will take you back to Hauberg for a cocktail hour with light hor d'hoeuvres and a cash bar. All proceeds support the operation and restoration of the historic Hauberg Estate.
