Friends of Mike Jacobs owes $1,700 in fines

The campaign committee Friends of Mike Jacobs owes a $700 fine imposed on Dec. 22, 2017, according to Illinois State Board of Elections (ISBE).

A detailed look reveals the committee owes additional outstanding fines totaling $1,000 with J. P. Jacobs listed as the responsible officer.

ISBE Records dating back to 2003 show seven area campaign committees owe a combined total of $36,088 in pending fines.
