Unpaid fines for East Moline-based campaign committee totaled $1,300 in August 2018

One campaign committee in East Moline has overdue fines amounting to a total of $1,300, records obtained by the Rock Island Today show.

A detailed review of individual fines revealed that McGuire for Illinois was the only campaign committee in East Moline that was delinquent in payment for August 2018, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

The committee has been fined repeatedly for a late A-1 report.
