Q1 2018 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Henry County?

There were seven offenders released on parole during the first quarter that live in Henry County, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by Rock Island Today.

The data shows that six men and one woman were released in Henry County. The median age of the parolees was 47. The youngest parolee was a 30-year-old man sentenced for a property crime in 2016, and the oldest was a 71-year-old man sentenced for a crime involving alcohol in 2015.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Brandt C. McCormick. He was convicted of a property crime in 2014 when he was 27 years old. He is now 32.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below gives a breakdown of how many offenders were paroled in the first quarter in each Henry County municipality.
