The Rock Island County Republican Central Committee is focused on spreading cheer this holiday season.
Group leaders recently sent out notice that in lieu of its regular meeting, they instead will be celebrating their RICO Christmas Party on Dec. 19 in the VIP Room of the QC Entertainment Center in Moline. The event kicks off at 6 p.m. and those planning to attend can RSVP secretary Nancy Devriese at ndevriese@riverstonegroup.com.
“This is a family-friendly event and we will have two lanes of bowling and pizza,” organizers said in the notice. “Everyone is encouraged to bring Christmas cookies or other holiday treats, but it's not necessary.”
