Augustana College Board of Trustees recently issued the following announcement.
The Augustana Endowment Society will include the Augustana Chamber Singers with their program "Beginning to Sound Like Christmas", directed by Augustana Henry Veld Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities, Dr. Jon Hurty.
A brief business meeting will follow with a serving of light refreshments.
Founded in 1894, the society is an independent group of friends of the college who contribute to various strategic college initiatives through collection of annual dues and investment in securities. It meets the first Wednesday of each month during the academic year at 1:30 p.m. in the Westerlin Hall lounge.
