City of Colona Public Works Committee met Oct. 1.
Here is the agenda provided by the committee:
Public works report
1. New generator installed at City Hall; old one moved to street garage
2. Jackson Generator will donate a used generator to the food pantry; installation will be charged
3. Considering camping and honey wagon, etc prices for 2021
4. Mayor approved truck repairs and plow cylinders
5. Located/ordered salt for winter
6. Put culvert in at 805 7th Street
7. Hot patched some road repairs
8. Need new electrical panel for farm house
9. Water and sewer hook on fees
10.Contacted IDOT about trees on frontage
11.Contacted Mid-American about street light at CSFP entrance
12.Flushing hydrants September 21 – October 2
13.Should receive all materials to install the storm drain for the grant project by October 1st.
14.Getting quotes for demolition of the general store at CSFP vs control burn. Will have to move all electrical
