Fryxell Geology Museum recently issued the following announcement.
The Augustana offices of Student Inclusion and Diversity and Student Life will sponsor the annual Shades of Beauty Summit.
The summit is a gathering of women to share, discover and celebrate their beauty. The goal is to provide an event that will reach past cultural differences, uniting women and empowering them to love who they are, the way that they are.
Admission is free but registration is required. The first 250 Augustana women to register will receive a gift.
This year's theme is "Rise + Shine." Events will take place outside of Room 420, Gerber Center.
Schedule
1-3 p.m. For HER Social Hour (campus community only)
Pick up your event gift, enjoy snacks and snap pictures with your friends at the selfie stations.
4 p.m. Virtual CelebratHER Party
Hosted by radio personality, DJ Chocolate. Bring your dance moves, and come enjoy music, giveaways, and more.
5 p.m. Virtual EmpowHER Experience
A chat with a diverse group of women leaders who share their stories and tools. Panelists include:

Sarah Stevens, founder The Beautiful Project
Daisy Moran, director, Two Rivers YMCA
Jasmine Babers, founder, Love Girls Magazine
