The Regular Council of the City of Geneseo was called to order at 6:00 PM, with the following members present:

7 Chamber of Commerce Report
Chamber Director Sullivan gave the Chamber update and presented survey results concerning video gaming:
"The Geneseo Chamber’s polling found that support outweighed opposition by a 13-2 margin, or 86.7% of Geneseo businesses polled by the Chamber supporting video gaming to be allowed in Geneseo and 13.3% being opposed."

9 Mayor's Comments
The Mayor thanked the public for their feedback and participation regarding the video gaming agenda item and also discussed tolerance and the importance of the council moving forward together after tonight's vote.
10 City Council Comments
Alderman Wachtel thanked the public for their feedback concerning the video gaming agenda item.
Alderman Rothschild explained that businesses are losing money to other towns where game is allowed for patrons that want to play.
Alderman James stated that he would like to see revenue statistics from other towns where gaming is allowed, and that he is opposed to tonight's video gaming agenda item.
