City of Rock Island Fire & Police Commissioners Board Met June 14.
Here is the minutes provided by the board:
1. Call to Order
Chairman Hildreth called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
2. Roll Call
Present: Commissioner Hildreth, Commissioner Hass, Commissioner Wright and Deputy Police Chief Richard Landi.
3. Public Comment
Glen Evans spoke to the commissioners on behalf of police applicant Derrick Boyd.
4. Old Business
Approval of commission meeting minutes from 09/01/2020.
5. Executive Session
Chairman Hildreth requested a motion to go into executive session citing the exception 5 ILCS 120/2 (c)(1) the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body (or legal counsel for the public body).
Motion:
Commissioner Wright moved to go into executive session; Commissioner Hass seconded.
6. Adjourn
Chairman Hildreth requested a motion to adjourn the meeting.
Commissioner Hass moved to adjourn; Commissioner Wright seconded.
The meeting adjourned at 9:07 p.m.
