4. Update needed in reference to Local Roads & Street REBUILD ILLNOIS BOND GRANT, total funds received $336,044.16, must be expended by July 1, 2025 or the City will be required to return all funds to the State of Illinois.
5. Tentative date for annual audit, FYE April 30, 2022, to begin the week of October 24, 2022. A sixty (60) day extension has been filed with the Illinois State Comptroller. Annual audit is now due December 26, 2022.
Public Safety: Alderman Painter, chair; Aldermen Barrett, Hillman, members; Chief Swemline, L. LaMantia, staff. Meeting held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. A copy of meeting minutes is included in packet and available at City Hall and on
the City’s website. Next meeting to be held Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 2:30 p.m. 1. Selection of FGMArchitects as the architect to move forward with the new building project. This is phase 1 to get the process started. There is nothing else in place as phase 1 gets the project started and moving forward. Seven (7)
RFQ’s were sent out and four (4) replied. FGM was selected from the four (4) as the firm the committee felt was the best fit for the City of Colona to move forward.
