Success with Indoor Plants | Four Seasons Gardening (In Person Format)

February 28

1:30 PM - 3:30 PM

Make your houseplants happy with a little TLC.

Plants that thrive in indoor environments require a balance of plant culture and human care. Learn how to create a healthy houseplant environment by selecting the right plants for your indoor space as we discuss cultural requirements, maintenance practices, and key ornamental aspects in growing interior plants.

Love learning new gardening techniques with new friends?

Join Illinois Extension staff at the McLean County Extension Office on February 28 from 1:30 - 3:30 PM for an in person viewing of Four Seasons Gardening Winter Webinar Series - Success with Indoor Plants. After learning about houseplant care during the group viewing, learn the propagation by cutting technique and leave with new houseplants! Extension staff will lead a hands-on workshop on plant propagation by cuttings. For greatest joy and sharing, bring one or more houseplants that you are willing to propagate.

This in person format is limited to 25 participants. There is a $5 fee for workshop materials.

If you need a reasonable accommodation to participate in person, please call the McLean County Extension Office at 309-663-8306 or contact Liz Repplinger at pegg@illinois.edu. Early requests are strongly encouraged to allow sufficient time for meeting access needs.
