1 Roll Call

Meeting began at 6:00 PM

2 PUBLIC COMMENT

City Ordinance allows members of the Public to speak and give input up to 3 minutes. During Public Comment there can be no debate or action by the board at this time.

Nick Borkgren presented a PowerPoint presentation. A Q&A took place. Mr. Duetche explained his two main concerns are the size of the building and height - he wants to make sure the accessory building is not causing a disturbance and taking away from the Borkgren's home. Mr. Duetche gave two suggestions for changes to the plans to Mr. Borkgren and the board:

1.Move the accessory building to southeast corner and can keep the sq ft and height. 2. Place the building in the same spot as the zoning variance application shows but reduce the height of the side walls.

4 Business Item(s)

4.1. Consideration of Zoning Variance Application from Nick & Molly Borkgren - Accessory Building 768 sq ft. variance from the current ordinance.

Chairman Butch Will advised he would like to hear Mr. Borkgren's rebuttal to Mr. Duetche's proposal - Mr. Borkgren explained he and his wife, Molly have tried very hard and have made changes to comply with Mr. Duetche's concerns. However, there are reasons that he does not want the accessory building on the southeast corner. For upcoming projects, it makes sense for the pool and the shop to be next to each other. He advised the side wall header is as low as it can be at 12' as he wants to have a 10' door.

Derrick Seys moved, seconded by Jim Schmedding, Motion to approve the Zoning Variance Application for Nick & Molly Borkgren to construct a

Accessory Building with a 768 sq ft. variance from the current ordinance.

RESULT: Carried
