City of Colona City Council met Oct. 9.

Public Safety Committee: 

1. Chief Swemline has asked for a couple items added to the Agenda. Discuss purchase of the Flock Cameras - 3LPR Cameras, and 1 pack Camera, approved by Public Safety Committee. Paid for by AARPD Funds 

2. Discuss Hiring Jack Frajmar as new Hearing Officer for Municipal  Court due to Ted Hammer's retirement in December, approved by Committee. 

3. Announce Trick Or Treat hours are Oct. 31st, Tues. from 5:30-7:30 

Consent Agenda: 

1. Approve minutes from council meeting of Sept 25, 2023 

2. Approve minutes of Special meeting of Oct. 2, 2023 

3. Approve payment of bills for period of Sept. 26 - Oct, 92023 

4. Approve payroll for Sept. 26-Oct. 10, 2023 

5. Approve Treasure's Report for Sept. 2023 

Old Business: 

1. Discuss Application for TIF Incentive Assistance For Glazed  Doughnuts, LLC. for property at 713-1st street. 

2. Approve use of the Clubhouse at no cost or 1⁄2 price for the Center  for Youth & family Solutions, a Non-Profit Organization. To hold a  Euchre Tournament Fund Raiser to be held on March 9th 2024  from 6-10 pm. Note: This organization provides services for Henry, Rock Island and Mercer counties for foster care, adoptions, crisis intervention, and counseling. 

New Business: 

1. Approve use of Clubhouse at no cost for Twin Rivers Little Leaque  for any week-end in March, 2024 for a Taco Dinner from 5-9 p.pm 

2. Approve waiving the sewer portion of water bill at 211 3rd street for  $140.00 due to a water leak.
