U.S. Army and Illinois National Guard commission 12 new Second Lieutenants

This past weekend, the U.S. Army and Illinois Army National Guard commissioned 12 Second Lieutenants during a ceremony for the ROTC Leatherneck Battalion at Western Illinois University. These young individuals have earned the right to pin on the "gold bar", having completed rigorous military training while also fulfilling college classroom requirements. We extend our congratulations to each of them as they embark on this challenging journey.
