State Senator Neil Anderson (IL-47) and State Representative Travis Weaver (IL-93) have announced a Town Hall event in Pekin on Thursday, September 26, from 6-7 p.m. The event will be held at Coffee Connection, located at 404 Court St., Pekin. Refreshments will be available.

“This event will provide area residents with an update on what is happening in Springfield and how it impacts our local communities,” said Senator Anderson. “This is also a great way to let your voices be heard prior to the start of our upcoming Veto Session in November. I look forward to seeing everyone in Pekin.”

“Connecting with the communities we represent and being accessible to our constituents is the foundation of our jobs as elected representatives,” said Rep. Weaver. “These town halls are great opportunities for residents to hear about what’s been happening in Springfield, around our Districts, and what our plans are for tackling pressing issues facing Illinois.
