2. Discuss OSLAD Grant
Open space grant through the state
Total up to $600,000. Distressed community 100% and non-distressed 50%
We need a capital improvement plan to apply
We went through the parks to try and figure out what needed the most help Jacobs would be our best bet for the most money, we could also do Hereford and Butterworth.
Keeping it Jacob’s park-specific will allow us to continue the master plan for Jacob’s Park and incorporate this grant planning into that
Looking for a landscape architect with experience with parks to create a plan (this will be put in motion at the next city council meeting)
