Rock Island County Finance and Personnel Committee met Sept. 10.

Chairman Dr. Luis Moreno called the Finance & Personnel Committee meeting to order at 8:32am

2. Roll Call: Dr. Moreno, Bob Perkins, Edna Sowards, Kai Swanson

Absent: Dr. Rodney Simmer, Brian Vyncke

Also Present: Jim Grafton, April Palmer, Ryan Berger, Nick Camlin, Tammy Weikert, Bridget Edgewater, Jim Nelson, Jared VanTieghem, Derrick Hendrix.

3. Approval of minutes from the August 13th Finance & Personnel Committee meeting

4. Reports to the Committee

County Auditor April Palmer gave a report on the Hope Creek Liability

County Finance Director Ryan Berger gave a report on the FY 2025 budget requests overall the budget looks well

County Treasurer Nick Camlin gave a report on investments of $110M

County Administrator Jim Grafton reported that he has hired a fleet manager and plans on opening the maintenance garage on October 7th. Mr. Grafton also gave a report on the negotiations.
