The request was made by Rock Island Today, a media organization committed to providing comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, on January 28, 2025.
The keywords specified in the request were “Lucy Calkins” and “Units of Study”. As a media organization, Rock Island Today believes that access to public records is essential for fulfilling its professional responsibilities. These include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public. Given its role in disseminating information, Rock Island Today has also requested for a fee waiver as a media professional.
