QCCVB is getting ready to host its Quad Cities Restaurant Week.
The Quad Cities Convention & Visitors Bureau (QCCVB) will host Quad Cities Restaurant Week from Feb. 29 to March 6.
More than 30 local restaurants plan to offer special menus and discounted prices on lunch and dinner offerings. Lunch at any of the participating locations will cost $8 and fixed menu, multi-course dinners will range from $15-$25.
Event organizers said Restaurant Week continues to grow and provide diners with opportunities to try new creations from a variety of chefs.
“Last year, the website saw an increase of 29 percent in web traffic from 2014,” QCCVB Public Relations and Marketing Manager Jessica Waytenick said. “Quad Cities Restaurant Week is a great opportunity to rediscover a long-time favorite or experience one of the area’s new eateries.”
Participating eateries include Moe's Burgers and Brews, Me & Billy Kitchen and Bar, Embers of the Phoenix, Hemispheres Bistro, Johnny's Italian Steakhouse, Blue Cat Brew Pub and Crust Stone Oven Pizza, among others.
No registration or coupons are required to participate, but organizers do recommend making reservations at restaurants that accept them.
