The East Moline City Council was expected to vote on approving a new water filter for the city's water filtration system yesterday, Feb. 16, at East Moline City Hall.
The council took up an agenda that also included the appointment of a new police officer, the purchase of a $90,734 dump truck and the purchase of a new mower for the water filtration plant.
East Moline Mayor John Thodos was expected to present a schedule for Quad City Speedway.
