The City of Rock Island, Illinois will close the intersection of 25th Street and 22nd Avenue starting today to allow for concrete patching work.
City officials said parking in the vicinity will also be closed during construction. "No parking" zones will be marked with signs.
The city said drivers should expect delays in the area and should plan alternative routes if necessary. The work is expected to be completed in two weeks.
