The Rock Island City Council met April 11 to discuss the Sixth Avenue relief sewer project.
This discussion was designed to take a closer look at the overruns on the current project.
The city council also presented the retail attractions.
The Rock Island City Council is responsible for the policy direction for the city, city budget approval, the funding of municipal services, the level of services for the citizens, the appointment of a city manager, the hiring of city department heads, conducting meetings and the creation of council goals.
