The City of Moline Board of Fire and Police Commissioners will meet at 1 p.m. tomorrow, May 23, to hold interviews.

The authority of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners stems from the Illinois Municipal Code, Illinois Compiled Statues and the City of Moline Code of Ordinances. Commissioners are tasked with creating and implementing various regulations related to city business.

Here is the meeting agenda as presented by the Moline Board of Fire and Police Commissioners:

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners of the City of Moline will hold special meetings to conduct applicant interviews on Monday and Tuesday, May 23 and 24, 2016, commencing at 1 p.m. each day, in the second-floor conference room in the Moline Fire Department, 1630 Eighth Ave., Moline, IL.

1. Executive Session: Firefighter/Paramedic Candidate Interviews

(Appointment, Employment, Compensation, Discipline, Performance, or Dismissal of Specific Employees 5 ILCS 120/2c(1))

Any person with disabilities who wishes to attend the meeting who requires a special accommodation, or any other person requiring a special accommodation in attending the meeting, should notify Jody Walker, Moline Police Department, 309-524-2230, at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled meeting time.
