Moline Fire Department renews maintenance contract

The Moline Fire Department Foreign Fire Tax Board met Feb. 14 to renew a preventative maintenance contract.

Here is the meeting's agenda, as provided by the board:

"Members of this board are elected for a two-year term by the commissioned members of the Moline Fire Department."

A. A request to allocate ten percent of the annual Foreign Fire Tax Insurance check received to fund education

for employees interested in pursuing Fire Officer I and II.

B. A request to renew the preventative maintenance contract with Treadmill Heroes in the amount of $1,120 to

cover maintenance of the fitness equipment at all four station locations.

Central Station

A. A request for the purchase of a 7’ straight bar from Second Wind Exercise Inc. in the amount of $199.

B. A request for the purchase of an ice/water dispensing machine up to $4,058.63.

C. A request for the purchase of an ice machine up to $1,856 to be placed downstairs to fill coolers after and

during training or fires.

Station 3

A. A request for the purchase of a 2-stage snow thrower up to $800.
