Rock Island Public Library will be announcing the first round of winners from their “Chill Out and Read” winter reading program on Saturday.
Library staff will draw the winners from all program entries deposited at county library locations by 5 p.m. tomorrow, Feb. 17.
The “Chill Out and Read” wrap party will be held at Rock Island Main Library 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18. Winter Reading winners who are not present will be called, as well.
The event is free to the public and includes a movie showing and popcorn, as well as a craft from Quad City Botanical Center. Door prizes will also be given away to guests of the event.
Participants in the program received an entry ticket for all books checked out between Jan. 14 and 17, at Rock Island Library locations.
