The Village of Cambridge budget was $2.24 million for its 2015 fiscal year, or $2,684.18 per household.

That's an increase of 1.6 percent from 2014, when the village spent $2.21 million, or $2,640.70 per household.

Cambridge has 836 households and a population of 2,168.

Since 2001, the Village of Cambridge budget has grown by 39.5 percent, from $1.61 million. The village population has fallen 1.5 percent over the same period, from 2,200.

Salaries accounted for 16.1 percent of village spending in 2015. Cambridge property taxpayers paid $360,125.28 for seven full-time employees and eight part-time employees.

In 2001, the village had five full-time employees and six part-time employees, and spent $245,383.44.
