The Quad Cities will host its first Professional Development Integrative Lifestyle Forum (PDILF) on Sept. 29 at Davenport’s Rhythm City Casino, according to a press release.
Nationally respected speakers Dr. Sayed Shah and Andy Core are headlining the forum, which will focus on strategies for furthering careers and improving health. According to the release, it is ideal for a wide range of professionals, including business owners, managers and employees who want to advance in their companies.
Tickets for the forum are $35, and the event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., will include demonstrations, breakout sessions and a healthy lunch. Those travelling to attend the event can book a room at the Rhythm City Casino.
According to the release, Shah is at the forefront of integrative medicine, having co-founded Mandala Integrative Medicine, and is an expert in gut health. He emphasizes the impact that hormones and gut microbiota can have on a person’s life, affecting mood, energy levels, sleep and immunity, in addition to digestion. Core is an expert on promoting engagement, productivity and wellness among employees and focuses on thriving in a hectic society.
