City of Moline Traffic Engineering Committee met Feb. 6.
Here is the agenda provided by the Committee:
Scott Hinton called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m.
Agenda Items:
1. Approval of minutes for the Traffic Engineering Committee meeting of January 9, 2018. Motion to approve minutes by Christ, seconded by Moore. Motion carried unanimously.
2. Request to prohibit parking twenty feet east and west of 15th Street A on the south side of 8th Avenue. Moore explained that prohibiting parking west of 15th Street A may not be necessary as 8th Avenue is a one way for eastbound traffic and 15th Street A is a one way for northbound traffic. Christ motioned to prohibit parking east of 15th Street A on the south side of 8th Avenue with confirmation from the Street Division that prohibiting parking west of 15th Street A is not necessary, seconded by Moore. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion to adjourn by Christ, seconded by Moore. Motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 1:36 p.m.
