5. Village President’s Agenda:

a. Update on Well #2 at Treatment Facility #1 – Larson Pump came out on Friday, February 28 and pulled the pump. While the pump is out the well will be televised. Upon completion of the televising, the new pump will be installed and if everything goes according to plan, the well should be operational within the next week.

b. Motion to acknowledge and ratify DOCAS Nick Gottwalt’s authorization and signature of “A Letter of Engagement for an Appraisal Report” from QC Home Appraisals (Joel Hansen & Kristin Lovett) in the amount of $3,150.00 for the appraisal of eighteen (18) properties owned by the Village.

c. Motion to acknowledge and ratify Village President’s authorizing the purchase of a new well pump from Larson Pump to replace non-operating one in Well #2. Pump make, model, etc. __________________ at a cost of $____________ (The pump information and pricing will be available at the Tuesday night board meeting. Was not available at time Agenda was printed. If the Village President has not approved the purchase prior to Board Meeting this motion will be changed to “Motion to authorize the purchase of a new well pump from Larson Pump at a cost of $_______ , make, model, etc. _____________________________________”.)

a. Downstate Illinois Occupational Safety and Health Day – Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. at the Peoria Civic Center. – D.C.A.S. Nick Gottwalt will attend.

b. 2020 IAFSM Conference – March 11 & 12, 2020 at the Tinley Park Convention Center – 18451 Convention Center Drive, Tinley Park, Illinois. Registration is $430.00 – D.C.A.S. Nick Gottwalt will attend as the Village’s local Floodplain Manager.

c. Illinois Municipal League “Not-So-Newly Elected Officials Workshop” – Tuesday, April 7, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel & Conference Center in Rockford, Illinois. Trustee Neels & Trustee Scott will be attending.

d. 2020 Illinois Tax Increment Association (T.I.F.) Annual Spring Conference being held April 15-17, 2020 at the President Abraham Lincoln Springfield – a DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel. – D.C.A.S. Nick Gottwalt will be attending as Village Treasurer.

e. Illinois Municipal League presents the Municipal Regulation of Adult-Use Cannabis Seminar – on May 13, 2020 from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel in Rockford, Illinois. D.C.A.S. Nick Gottwalt will be attending.
