Report: Wethersfield School District spent $9,877 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Wethersfield Community Unit School District 230 was up 6.9 percent from five years ago, according to the Rock Island Today analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Henry County school district spent $9,243 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $9,877 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 589 to 567 students over the same period.

Wethersfield's spending in 2019-20 was 31.8 percent lower than the state average of $14,492.
