Q3 2022 Recap: 1 parolee from Rock Island County convicted of crimes against justice set for release

There was one offender convicted of a crime against justice living in Rock Island County released on parole during the third quarter of 2022, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by the Rock Island Today.

The data shows the released offender was a man. He was convicted in 2021 when he was 42 years old. He is now 44.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.
