City of East Moline Special Events Committee met June 28.

1. Approval of May 24, 2023 Meeting Minutes
2. Consideration of a Special Event Application for Tudi’s Tribe to utilize 53rd Street and 34th Avenue from The Jane Adams School to the Pyesa N/ Whirling Thunder entrance at Black Hawk College for the Gabe’s Gift Memorial 5K & 1-Mile Fun Run. The event is to be held Saturday, September 9th from 5:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (this includes set-up and clean-up time). Supporting information and special consideration requests are detailed in the Special Event Application.
3. Consideration of a Special Event Application for the Butterworth Center & Deere-Wiman House to utilize 11th Avenue from 8th Street to the end of the Butterworth Center & Deere-Wiman House parking lot entrance for the Porch Party event. The event is to be held Sunday, September 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (this includes set-up and clean-up time).
