Successful FFA Saturday Celebrated Across Illinois

Illinois FFA members and supporters recently celebrated a successful FFA Saturday across the state. The day was filled with various events and achievements in different FFA chapters.

One participant shared their experience, stating, "It was an FFA Saturday." The day started with the judging and selection process of the 2024-2025 FFA State Officers at Lincoln Land Community College. Candidates were evaluated on impromptu speeches, with a scenario involving meeting a representative to discuss FFA funding. The candidates showcased their abilities and professionalism during the event.

Following the officer selection process, the focus shifted to Bushnell, where Bushnell-Prairie City's FFA Banquet took place. Attendees congratulated the students on their hard work and numerous accomplishments throughout the year, with someone expressing, "Congratulations on your hard work."

The day concluded with a special moment in Sherrard, where the Weber Family was honored for their contributions and dedication to the FFA. They were recognized as Honorary Members of the Sherrard FFA, with a congratulatory message shared, "Congratulations to the Weber Family for becoming Honorary Members of the Sherrard FFA!"

The FFA Saturday brought together FFA members, families, and supporters to celebrate the achievements and hard work of students across Illinois. It was a day filled with recognition, appreciation, and camaraderie within the FFA community.
