State Senator Neil Anderson has collaborated with the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office to organize a Mobile DMV event in Mason City. The event is aimed at providing easier access to state services for local residents.
Senator Anderson remarked on the initiative, stating, “My office is committed to bringing state services to communities like Mason City, where it’s more accessible for people in the community. This event is a great opportunity for two state entities to work together to better serve the people we represent.”
The event is scheduled for Monday, April 14, 2025, from 10 AM to 2 PM. It will be held at the Mason City Public Library District, located at 820 West Chestnut Street, Mason City, IL 62664.

Seniors aged 65 and older can obtain a state ID free of charge. However, those aged 78 and older are required to visit the nearest DMV facility to renew their driver’s license.
Payments for services must be made by check, credit card, debit card, or money order, as cash will not be accepted.
