The East Moline park board met Tuesday night to discuss multiple topics of old business before adjourning and scheduling the board’s next meeting.
The board first approved January and February’s minutes before accepting the treasurer’s report.
Old business discussed during the meeting included the approval of the board’s recommendation to close certain parks to save maintenance costs, authorization to purchase food and beverages for the volunteer appreciation dinner planned for April and approval of the volunteer appreciation dinner flyer.
The meeting was adjourned shortly after discussing old business topics. The board’s next meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, at East Pointe, which is located at 120 14th Ave.
